Online Seminars
Online Seminars or webinars are recorded lectures and software demonstrations, of various lengths, that are feature specific. The material is presented by an instructor using audio, PowerPoint presentations, and by sharing their applications so the participant can view anything that the presenter is showing on their screen, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over. During the demonstration, the instructor discusses the software, the action taken, the Best Practices, and/or the reason for each step being demonstrated. This can be a single topic or a number of related topics.

Recorded Instructor-led Training
These online versions of our traditional instructor-led training courses are recorded lectures and demonstration that are segmented into 1-2 hour sessions. Included with this training are downloadable labs to practice concepts and procedures taught in the class. Participants must have access to the Wonderware software to complete the labs. Asynchronous, which means "not at the same time," allows the student to complete the online training on his own time and schedule, without live interaction with the instructor. Asynchronous e-learning is more common because it creates a just-in-time, on-demand student learning experience. Unlike synchronous training, students do not need to schedule their time around the predetermined plan of the instructor. There is complete flexibility with asynchronous training, which comes in two forms, facilitated and self-paced.

Learning Tools
These tools are a combination of Quick Reference Guides and introductory product tutorials.
- Quick Reference Guides are printable job-aids. One to two pages long, they are task specific to answer your “how to” questions. The material focuses on a short task or feature usage.
- The Getting Started tutorials help you to understand the basic building blocks and features of our Wonderware software products. By completing the interactive labs, you will see how quick and easy it is to create a simple working application for a typical plant production facility. This training will take 1-2 hours to complete. The material is presented in short informational web pages followed by interactive labs where Wonderware software is simulated.
