Wonderware Intelligence Software 1.1

Invensys Operations Management has released a new version of its Wonderware Intelligence software, bringing enhanced performance, improved usability, bug fixing and support for the Microsoft Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 operating systems. Additionally, concurrent licensing mode is now available for Intelligence Standard Clients, used to view interactive dashboards that display operational metrics in real time.

Product overview:

Holistic plant operations information context and results are typically distributed in multiple data sources like historians, batch systems, alarm management, quality systems, ERP production data, MES and even homegrown applications. Wonderware Intelligence software provides the ability to connect, collect, aggregate and compute metrics from these multiple sources, within context of each other, resulting in more value than when each source is accessed individually. End users access this high-value information themselves, providing self-service analytics, reports and dashboards.

Plant and line performance can be compared with unified operational KPI’s on a business unit level to leverage best practices and to identify unused potential in production capacity or cost savings. The software automates the generation of real-time plant metrics from shop floor and production data sources into operator-relevant performance or cost context, improving operational decision making and workforce collaboration. Wonderware Intelligence enhances the decision-support capabilities of an enterprise with pre-calculated operations data for more agile and more objective business decision making and cost effectively helps close the information gap.

• Configurable services for metrics and KPI’s data collection, aggregation and contextualization into an open Intelligence database in selected resolutions and historical timeframe.

• User-friendly analysis and dashboard tools provide self service access to information from operations to corporate personnel, increasing empowerment of users with the information they need and enabling knowledge sharing with easy publication of reports and dashboards.

• Integration to System Platform provides a standardized configuration environment, real-time data connectivity and preprocessing as a powerful foundation for other Wonderware and Invensys products.
