Wonderware Corporate Energy
Management Application 1.0 Launched on April 19th
The new release of Wonderware Corporate Energy Management
Application 1.0 is now available for purchase. This
first release of the Corporate Energy Management (CEM)
Application puts energy data into context, enabling corporations
to reach financial energy efficiency and consumption
goals.
Using Wonderware CEM 1.0, users can monitor
consumption and demand of metered energy, e.g. gas, electricity,
chill, water and steam. Energy meters and events are quickly
configured to allow real-time monitoring and alarming as well as
historical reporting and analysis.
Real-time energy data is combined with context
data like line number, equipment, area or even batch or campaign
to yield actionable information and help move fixed energy costs
into the variable costs column! Energy events like peak charge
periods and usage threshold violations can be configured to
notify operators and managers. And a rich set of out-of-the-box
reports presents contextualized energy information.
Wonderware CEM 1.0 is an application that
leverages Wonderware System Platform and InTouch for System
Platform.

Operations and Performance Software 4.0 Launched on April 26th
The major new release of Wonderware Operations and Performance
Software 4.0 is now available for purchase. This
release of Operations and Performance Software greatly extends
Operations Software capabilities and enhances Performance
Software, too.
Wonderware Operations and Performance Software 4.0
introduces the new Operations Capability Object (OCO) to handle
Jobs, Productions, Consumptions, Specifications and Inventory. A
new MES Client replaces the Configurator and Supervisor
applications and provides a powerful, configurable client front
end that doesn't even require a platform (for System Platform
access)!
Dynamic routing and specifications have been
enhanced and there is an MES database utility that supports data
archive, purge and restore operations. Operating System, database
and technologies have been upgraded and a PEM migration tool
cleanly migrates object templates and instances to
OCOs.
Wonderware Operations and Performance Software 4.0
leverages Wonderware System Platform, including Information
Server for reporting. Expect to see comprehensive migration
policy for all previous versions as well as for P&PM modules
like PEM and EOM.

release is fully re-mastered and includes many fixes and more new

a self-extracting executable, or as an ISO image, containing the
full installation media ready to be burned to a CD.
