System Platform Part 1

The Wonderware System Platform 3.0 - Part 1 course is a four-day, instructor-led course designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of ArchestrA® and supply the knowledge necessary to develop and support applications for the Wonderware Application Server 3.0. The course utilizes a number of hands-on labs to reinforce concepts and features.The focus of this course is to illustrate the use of ArchestrA® tools and services in the System Platform to develop a project utilizing connectivity to the field, data processing, scripts, alarms and history, using features and functionality such as Automation Objects, templates, template instances, ArchestrA® Integrated Development Environment and QuickScript .NET.This course also provides a fundamental understanding of how to utilize the InTouch® Alarm DB Logger for real-time alarm recording as well as the security settings available for securing the applications. System Platform Part 2

The Wonderware System Platform Course - Part 2 is a five-day instructor-led class designed to provide you with a fundamental understanding of the Wonderware® software involved in information management, delivery, analysis and remote visualization for the Wonderware System Platform. This class is the second part of a 2-part series. Part 1 provided you with the knowledge necessary to develop and support applications using Wonderware Application Server.In Part 2, key concepts and terms associated with the Wonderware Historian 9.0, ActiveFactory™ 9.2 and the Wonderware Information Server 3.0 are discussed. You will learn how they integrate with ArchestrA® technology to extend the capabilities of the System Platform.You will also learn how to use the Historian, a high-performance real-time and historical database for SCADA and factory data, as a historian and data provider for applications based on the Application Server. You will learn how to visualize and analyze data stored in the Historian using the trending, analysis and reporting capabilities of ActiveFactory software. InTouch for System Platform

The InTouch® 10 for Wonderware System Platform Course is a three-day instructor-led course designed to teach the basic principles of how Wonderware Application Server 3.0 provides visualization of your plant galaxy data using ArchestrA® Symbols within the InTouch 10.0 for System Platform software. The focus of this course is to illustrate the use of visualization tools in the System Platform to provide a Human Machine Interface (HMI) utilizing connectivity to the galaxy, graphic symbols, animations and scripting features and functionality found in InTouch WindowMaker, ArchestrA Symbols, the ArchestrA Symbol Editor, and QuickScript.NET. This course will also provide you with a fundamental understanding of how to utilize the alarm controls for alarm visualization, ActiveFactory™ controls for history visualization, and how to secure the application. InTouch HMI 10.0 Fundamentals

The InTouch® HMI Fundamentals of Application Development course is a 5-day, instructor-led class designed to teach the basic functionality of the Wonderware® visualization module.The purpose of this course is to give you the InTouch® HMI knowledge necessary to develop a Human Machine Interface (HMI) for their specific plant floor environment using basic InTouch® HMI elements. This HMI system will be developed using many of the InTouch® HMI software features/ functionality such as WindowMaker, Tagnames, Animation, Cells and Symbols, SmartSymbols, Scripting, Alarms, RealTime and Historical Trending, Advance Tag Functionality, Security, Application Backup. InTouch HMI 10.0 Advanced

InTouch® 10.0 HMI Advanced Application Development Course is a 4-day instructor led class designed to teach advanced functionality of the Wonderware® visualization module. The focus of this course is on distributed applications. Students will gain the InTouch knowledge necessary to develop networked HMI systems for their specific plant floor environment using the following features/functionality: ArchestrA Graphics, Network Application Development (NAD), Indirect Tags, Dynamic Reference Addressing, Remote Tagname Referencing, SuperTags, I/O Failover, InTouch and Operating System Security, Distributed Alarms, Distributed History, SuiteLink, OPC, VTQ, .NET, ActiveX, Services and Internet functionality. Students will also be introduced to InTouch for Terminal Services, and on a Tablet PC, as well as a demonstration of how to view their InTouch applications over their intranet or the internet using the Wonderware® Information Server web portal. Wonderware Information Server 3.0

Wonderware Information Server Software - Administrator course is a 2-day, instructor-led class designed to provide you with the knowledge to set up your Wonderware Information Server web portal, convert your InTouch® HMI windows to view over the internet, connect to the most common factory data sources, and maintain your web server.The purpose of this course is to give you the ability to share information and reports, convert and publish InTouch® HMI windows, and add links and customize the portal to present information important to your users. Using hands-on-labs, you will learn how to check the status of machinery on the plant floor, view I/O at remote sites and multiple plants, and retrieve current production and batch yields. Additionally you will be able to set up a server, connect to data sources, and view the data on your Wonderware Information Server web portal. You will receive information regarding XML, Alarm data retrieval, report configuration, registry information, and supported animation and scripts in InTouch® HMI software. You will learn to access Wonderware Information Server content from external websites available through "Favorites" or Microsoft Office applications directly and via Microsoft SharePoint. Equipment Operations Module

The Equipment Operations Module course is a 2-day, instructor-led class that provides you with a fundamental understanding of the Wonderware® Equipment Operations Module. The Equipment Operations Module works in conjunction with the Wonderware System Platform 3.0 to provide formula management capabilities and real-time production events collection to an ArchestA® application.The Equipment Operations Module includes the Production Events Module, the Formula Management Module and Production Services. The Production Events Module captures and records information about production events in the context of the logical plant model. It allows you to monitor, report, and analyze production data related to genealogy of materials (lots, batches, or serial numbers), equipment usage, personnel associated with production activities, and other relevant production events. The Formula Management Module adds fixed procedure formula management to a Wonderware Application Server application. It allows you to create, load, edit, and download formulas within the ArchestrA environment to other objects or external devices. Production Services includes the Production Server, Rejected Message Viewer, and the Production Database Maintenance Utility. You can use Production Services to provide communication between a SQL Server database and production-related ArchestrA objects such as the Production Events Module and Formula Management Module objects. Additionally, Production Services allows you to view, resubmit and delete rejected messages.

InBatch 8.1

The InBatch 8.1 Premier class is a four-day instructor-led course that provides participants with a fundamental overview of the concepts and terms associated with our InBatch Premier product. The course includes providing the students with the opportunity to apply the product to a batch process application. InBatch Premier is flexible batch management software designed to model and automate batch-oriented production processes. InBatch Premier allows users to quickly and easily create recipes and simulate their execution against a model of the process - all before writing one line of control code.InBatch Premier's powerful batch engine, combined with its integration with FactorySuite 2000, means that users can reduce the cost and time to automate batch processes by 40 to 60% over competitive solutions. InBatch Premier facilitates the design and implementation of solutions that are compliant with 21 CFR Part 11, the US Regulation on Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures.

Manuafacturing Execution Module Developer

Manufacturing Execution Module Developer course is a 5-day, instructor-led class designed to provide you with knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Module Developer software's database configuration, the basics of OLE automation principles, ActiveX principles, and their use in production tracking and modeling.This course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of Manufacturing Execution Module Developer software automation capabilities by using OLE and ActiveX technology in customization of an applied business case.

Manufacturing Execution Module Foundation & Modeling

Manufacturing Execution Module Foundation and Modeling course is a 3-day, instructor-led class that provides you with a fundamental understanding of how Manufacturing Execution Module Foundation and Modeling software is utilized as a plant-wide tracking and modeling application. This is accomplished through the construction and fine-tuning of an operations/production model based on a business case. The model includes materials tracking, materials consumption, and production process evaluation. Design concepts to build a Manufacturing Execution Module Foundation and Modeling Software model are provided.

QI Analyst 8.0

QI Analyst™ Software course is a 2-day, instructor-led class designed to teach all of the basic functionality of Wonderware´s QI Analyst™ Software.Offering a comprehensive selection of SPC charts and powerful statistical procedures, QI Analyst™ Software enables you to pinpoint variation immediately and keep your line running smoothly. Powerful statistics automatically test data against statistical rules to detect trends, runs, patterns and outliers. When a rule violation occurs, QI Analyst™ Software immediately charts and identifies the point in red. In addition, customizable alarms alert you whenever unnatural variation occurs in your data, so you can solve quality problems immediately. For example, if a violation occurs, QI Analyst™ Software can call your pager or send you an email. You are never more than a glance or an alarm away from critical information.
